OUTDOOR Sunday Masses Beginning July 26, we will resume public Sunday Masses outdoors on the Cathedral Plaza at 8am (Vietnamese) and 11am (English). As an added safety measure, we will limit attendance to 100 congregants per Mass and re-institute our online ticketing system. CLICK HERE to sign up for Sunday Mass on July 26 . As these Sunday Masses will be celebrated outdoors, we encourage those coming to Mass to frequently check weather forecasts and dress appropriately. These Sunday Masses will continue to be livestreamed on our Youtube Channel for those who cannot come to the Cathedral. Those who wish to come for Confessions on Sunday are asked to enter the Cathedral via the side door (closest to the former Gift Shop). REMINDER : The obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains DISPENSED INDEFINITELY for all Catholics in the Diocese of Oakland. Homily Help Happy Hour (H4) Seminar Series The Cathedral of Christ the Light is happy to announce our Homily Help Happy Hour (H4) seminar series! Join Fr. Brandon for small group discussions on the readings and prayers of the Mass as he prepares his Sunday homilies. We want this to be a weekly event via Zoom, beginning on May 19, 2020. Once we reopen the Cathedral, we hope to continue these H4 sessions in person with Fr. Brandon, either at the Cathedral or at a local bar or restaurant!
